Licensed Acupuncturist, Functional Medicine Practitioner
I am a licensed acupuncturist and functional medicine practitioner in the state of Colorado. I offer general practice acupuncture and East Asian Medicine including herbal medicine and cupping as well as functional medicine. While my specialties lie in women’s health and neurological work, I enjoy treating people with a range of symptoms from pain and injury to depression to support with medical conditions such as hypertension.
I developed the Brain Reintegration program after healing my own brain from severe environmental illness. My research led me to study neuro-acupuncture and functional medicine, two profoundly powerful tools for brain health and to develop tools for building resiliency into daily life. I learned that when we take care of our brain health regularly, we are more able to handle life’s crises with ease. I have dedicated my career toward helping others achieve this ease. Brain Reintegration work is a separate option from general practice acupuncture where we do powerful self-directed coaching work, while neurologically-based scalp needles are inserted. This work continues as needed as in-person or distance coaching.
I have lived in the Southwest for my adult life and love getting into the wilderness backpacking or boating or wandering, especially when I get to bring my 8 year old daughter. Prior to attending Chinese Medicine school, I worked in wilderness therapy, where I lived in the backcountry with groups of at-risk teenagers and young adults.
