I started my medical career in 2001 taking an EMT – Basic course that the coal mine put me through. I worked initially as a volunteer in the North Fork for about 16 years when I started part-time with the Delta County Ambulance District. In 2013 I was hired on full-time with Delta County Ambulance District, working my way through obtaining all the certifications available to me. Today I am working as a Critical Care Certified Paramedic and a Captain at Delta County Ambulance District.
In November of 2021, I became aware of a service called Rocky Mountain IV Medics that was established in 2020 in Colorado but is a branch off of a company that started in Arizona a few years prior to Colorado. I am very excited to be a part of this company as it gives me an opportunity to help people outside of the Ambulance world. Our IV’s have an outstanding variety of vitamins to help people with Immune support and overall hydration wellness, as well as support for autoimmune diseases.
I have been on the Western Slope since January of 1998. I love the mountains and the many and varied camping opportunities that the Western Slope has available.
