Meet the Massage Therapists

The three massage therapists at Wellspring have a combined 60+ years of experience! Meet Liz, Eric, and Maggie and discover their specialties in this blog post.

Liz Evans has been a bodyworker since 1999 (1982 if you count the times she gave her brother “Indian burns” in church). She studied at the Baltimore School of Massage from 1999–2001. Liz is passionate about sharing manual therapies like Core Alignment Therapy with other bodyworkers, whether they are certified therapists or compassionate caregivers who want to help keep a loved one out of pain. Liz is trained in Core Alignment Therapy, Thai Yoga Massage, Beginning Reflexology, Healing Stone Massage, Prenatal & Postpartum Massage and the Kurashova Technique for Sciatica, Fibromyalgia, Carpal Tunnel and Nerve RE-Education.

Eric Dyer is a licensed massage therapist with 16 years of experience who now offers massage sessions in Hotchkiss. Originally from Florida, where he graduated from a Daytona Beach 900-hour Massage School, he relocated from his surfing and skateboarding paradise to Keystone Colorado in the summer of 2007. After 9 years of working in Vail Resorts, Eric started his own practice in Cedaredge traveling as far as Denver to offer his clients relief. Eric specializes in Deep Tissue, Swedish, Pregnancy, and Hot Stone massage.

Magdalena Alvarez knew before she began massage school in 200, that her focus would be prenatal massage. She graduated from the Academy of Medical and Business Careers, Las Vegas NV~Certification of Massage Therapy, and the

Institute of Somatic Therapy~Prenatal Massage and Doula Certification, and

Pinkpeas Pregnancy and Parenting Care Center~midwifery apprenticeship and Advance Care Doula training. Her passion is to assist pregnant clients, teach parents infant massage, facilitate repair massage for athletes, and help those who are recovering from trauma with the healing touch of massage.
